Caitlin Kelley
Program Director, Satisfaction and Grants
Caitlin brings more than 16 years of lived and professional experience in behavioral health, peer support, research, community engagement, and systems advocacy to her role as Program Director of the Community/Family Satisfaction Team (C/FST) at HopeWorx. As a senior leader within the organization, she brings a unique ability to connect lived experience, community voice, research, and strategy to advance the mission and impact of HopeWorx.
Caitlin began her personal journey through the behavioral health system as a teenager, an experience that has shaped her ability to empathize with youth and young adults navigating child-serving systems and transitioning into adult services. That experience continues to inform her leadership and her commitment to ensuring that youth, families, and community members throughout the lifespan have meaningful opportunities to shape the systems and services that affect their lives.
She brings extensive experience in research and evaluation, including more than five years conducting survey research for Nielsen and The Harris Poll. Concurrently, she pursued her academic interests at McGill University, assisting with research projects related to adolescent psychology, social psychiatry, and social studies of medicine.
She went on to earn an M.A. in Applied Health Sciences from Brock University, specializing in community health through the Behavioral Health Sciences Research Lab. Her thesis examined the relationship between markers of psychological well-being and physical activity outdoors. Throughout her academic career, Caitlin has authored/co-authored more than six research publications, with research interests focused on using research to facilitate behavioral and social change in the community.
At HopeWorx, Caitlin previously supervised the Family Satisfaction Team and has been involved with the C/FST program for Montgomery County since 2020. In her current role, she provides program leadership while building partnerships, amplifying community voice, supporting organizational strategy and grant procurement, and advocating for systems-level change. She is also a founding member and facilitator of the statewide C/FST coalition.
Caitlin is dedicated to ensuring HopeWorx is a place where people feel safe, seen, and heard. She believes that starts with how we treat one another as staff and extends to the people and communities we serve. She is committed to creating a culture where people feel valued, respected, and supported, and where their voices and experiences genuinely matter.
In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys hiking, bird watching, and rescuing senior guinea pigs from a local animal shelter.
